  I love Twisted so much - although I don’t tend to hang out for long, the service is always quick, efficient, and kind. When I ran into an issue recently with a to-go order, they were very quick to offer a solution & help resolve it. I love the kava community but sometimes it can be hard to get good customer service - especially if you have an issue with your drink. Totem is a prime example of a bar that works hard to go against that stereotype and always provides the best customer service.

  Something about this place makes it feel like you’re walking back into your high school cafeteria. Very stale vibes, the girl behind the bar just had an essence to her that she had no interest in us being there. At least me, I guess, because she was quite friendly to my boyfriend. Product was fine but it’s nearly 2026 and you can find good kava quite easily. Save yourself the discomfort and go to one of the many other bars that are properly managed and value hospitality over aesthetics.

  This kava bar had great vibes, unique atmosphere, and friendly staff. We liked the kava shots, they were surprisingly tasty. The tea and kava were also great. Will definitely return when visiting Phoenix in the future.
