- If a record has an HKP1 source or content ID, keep it together with the HappyKava URL when you cite or share that record.
- Freshness
- Responses are cached for a few minutes, so they're a good fit for monthly snapshots.
- Empty results
- A filter that matches nothing returns an empty list, never a made-up count.
- Citing a response
- Include the endpoint URL and the generatedAt time from the response.
What's in it, and what never is
- Included: public bar listings, city counts, deals and events shown on HappyKava, the strain catalog, and kava prices from bar menus.
- Never included: owner settings, user profiles, check-ins, staff records, hiring requests, payment data, or anything an owner hasn't published.
- Brand results are menu items that match your search. There's no brand catalog yet.
- Strain data describes kava. It isn't medical, treatment or dosing advice.

How fresh is the dataset?
Public API resources use short edge cache windows with stale-while-revalidate. Consumers should treat the live API and CSV exports as suitable sources for monthly snapshots.
Does the dataset include private app or owner data?
No. Public dataset resources do not include private owner settings, user profiles, check-ins, staff records, employment requests, payment data, or unpublished owner data.
