How we count
We count active kava bar listings on HappyKava, the hours bars post, the deals and events on HappyKava, and the kava prices on bar menus. We don't use private account, check-in or unmoderated review data. “Open late” means posted hours reach 11 PM or later, go past midnight, or run 24 hours. Percentages are out of bars that post hours. Updated Nov 6, 2026.
Not in this report yet: growth since last year, openings and closures, and review trends. We'll add them once we have enough history to get them right.
