  This sweet lovely hidden gem is right off of camp Bowie!!!! I would highly recommend you to come and check it out!!! In the morning, the coffee is 50% off, so literally my cup with tip and all was like $2 bucks!!!! And an amazing mocha coffee at that!!! It sports couches and beautiful comfortable seating for different needs, from studying to visiting or to just sitting at the bar!!!

  This place is a great vibe! Friendly and knowledgeable staff along with a variety of kava flavors at the ready. A great spot if you want to study by yourself or you can mingle with the regulars. Great alternative for those on the path to sobriety or simply don't want to go out and drink.

  On Friday, September 26, 2025, as I walked inside with my baby, we were greeted with welcoming warm smiles from Chelsea and Cecilia.<br><br>Chelsea has been with Kava and provided great detail on the benefits of the different Kava they have. She is such a sweetheart, friendly, caring, attentive, and provided exceptional customer service. Chelsea also informed me about the different events they have every week, which are:<br>Monday — Massage 7 p.m.-10 p.m.<br>$20 for 20 minutes<br>Tuesday — Bingo/Poker<br>Wednesday — Open Mic<br>Thursday — Trivia<br>Friday — Karaoke<br>Saturday — Live music<br>Sunday — Movie night<br>They also have a happy hour from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. daily.<br><br>Chelsea noticed that my baby boy was beginning to get fussy, and she took out some blocks which definitely helped. They also have a few blankets, and they came in handy since my baby boy wanted to be on the floor. I can't stress enough how helpful it was. I appreciate you so much, Chelsea.<br><br>Cecilia is fairly new to the Kava team, but she's doing amazing work, and also provided great customer service and was friendly. Thank you, Cecilia.<br><br>Chelsea made a bomb apple crisp latte. It was delicious 10/5<br>I also had Kava and I tasted the peppermint first, then the bitter earthy taste, and it made my tongue numb for a bit, which is what Chelsea mentioned. The Kava we had was a welcoming drink, and we all said, "BULA." Bula means life or good health. It was a great experience since it was my first time having Kava and Chelsea and Cecilia made it such a good experience.<br><br>The ambience was so calming and mellow. I saw some people working on their laptops while I was there. It's a spot to socialize, read, work, etc.<br><br>I'll definitely be back to try other drinks and my husband will join me or friends. Hehe he<br><br>If you have yet to stop by, I highly recommend you do and if you're not a fan of the bitter earthy taste, Chelsea, Cecilia or any other staff member can help you with picking a drink or drinks you'll like depending on your preference.

  Been coming to this place for a few months now, it it’s leaps and bounds better than any other chain. Prices are better, service is better, and has a much more welcoming atmosphere. Jesse, Chris, Lily, Maya, and Chelsea are fantastic! Drinks are always delicious and priced well. The point system makes being a regular very rewarding. Could not recommend this place more.

  So excited about this bar being open! It’s a bit more of a drive but well worth it to me! The kava and elixir are brewed to perfection and the drinks taste amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the staff! Maya, Chris, and Lily are so open and welcoming and really help you to understand what you’re drinking. Can’t wait to see this place grow and change. Definitely would recommend anyone and everyone to have their first Kava experience here

  This place is the best kava bar in the area. Every single person that works there is so kind and good at what they do. The manager Chris is also amazing and really creates a welcoming environment, he tries to get to know everyone. If you’re looking for a place to build a community this place is perfect!
