  When I first moved to Dallas in December 2024, one of my buddies introduced me to the Kava Bar — and I’ve been hooked ever since. The vibe is awesome, the place is clean and welcoming, and everyone there is super friendly. The staff always treats you right, and it just feels like a spot where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Now I find myself going two or three nights a week without even thinking about it.

  Blatant Disrespect from Staff and Zero Response from Management<br><br>I’m leaving this review because the way I was treated here; twice, was unacceptable, and management hasn’t bothered to respond to the detailed email I sent about it.<br><br>The staff member in question is the one with red hair and glasses. Both times I’ve had her, her service has been consistently poor. Most recently, I walked in around 10:30 a.m. and waited about five minutes while she walked past me twice to go play with dogs on the floor instead of acknowledging me. Not “busy,” not “didn’t see me” - she looked right at me and chose to ignore me.<br><br>I was regular here, and I know the difference between someone being overwhelmed and someone being passive-aggressive. This was deliberate, and it was unprofessional.<br><br>I even lowered her tip the last time I had her because of her attitude, and unfortunately this confirmed the behavior wasn’t a one-time thing.<br><br>I emailed management directly, explained exactly what happened, and asked for an actual response - not a template. Days later, I still haven’t heard anything. No acknowledgment. No follow-up. No accountability.<br><br>This used to be one of my favorite places, but when an employee treats customers like that and management doesn’t even respond, it tells me everything I need to know. At this point, I’m completely fine not coming back.

  Super chill interior, the staff couldn’t be nicer. We knew nothing about Kava and they walked us through everything and gave us free shots. Really awesome experience. I wish you guys the best and we’ll definitely be back!

  Super great atmosphere, cute place and great drinks! I was new to Kava and they did a great job of explaining it. Have been a regular customer since!
