I love the vibes at this kava bar, very great place to chill and have a nice drink for an alternative alcohol choice. I travel the country and been to many kava bar and this is an awesome location next to the college.

Reno Roots Kava Bar quickly became one of my favorite hangout spots. The tea selection is incredible—high-quality, diverse, and full of unique flavors you won’t find anywhere else. The vibe is cozy and relaxing, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the regulars make the place feel super welcoming. If you’re into great tea and good energy, this place is a must-visit.

Come for the kava stay for the vibes. My fave place and people in Reno. Truly a cherished, welcoming “third space” for all.

Such a great spot to hangout out at. Everyone is super kind and I have never had a bad experience here. Absolutely adore the owners. I have nothing but great things to say about Reno Roots and all of the employees. If you haven’t checked them out yet you definitely should!

Reno Roots is an amazing place to study, hang out, and meet new people. The staff and owners are very welcoming and respectful. They have a great selection of organic teas and bobas, as well as kava stix that are perfect for on the go. I highly recommend checking this place out!
