Never tried kava before, but it’s a cool and unique feeling.

Kratom is fantastic. Good vibes. Kava is on point. Definitely stop in garb one to go or stay. You’ll be happy you did. Owner is a sweetheart, and very knowledgeable.

Lava Kava is such an awesome spot and the owner Miriam is wonderful. Miriam gave us a rundown of the menu and the properties-common effects of Kava. The mixed drink I ordered was delicious and my friends had the pure Kava tea. We played multiple rounds of Jenga and enjoyed the cozy space. Perfect spot to go with a friend or solo to read-chill. I’ll be back. Thank you, Miriam!

It's a nice little spot. The seating could be a little more cohesive with more table options, but for Portland's first Kava shop they're doing great. Plus the shop area of Bottos was never very large so they are working with the space they have. Nice to see the colabs with other businesses and the themed nights. Portland needs more of a nightlife.
