  The most welcoming and amazing atmosphere, I absolutely love it here. The coffee and the workers are absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommend! Had to add some art to the table out back for Halloween :)

  New place with a unique vibe and, most importantly, very good espresso. There's a lot of competition for coffee on Haywood, but I think this place competes with all of them. Note that all of the milk options are non-dairy (oat, cashew, and macademia). There a few scone options available as well.

  Cozy vibes, nice folks. Lots of plants! Amazing kava and coffee selection. Espresso is dialed in! Offers Eclectic Soul bakery which is by far the best vegan baking in WNC! All the drink options are plant-based vegan and taste incredible for everyone. Feel free to write poetry or doodle on the chalk bar. It’s a bit hit! The outdoor venue is nice too for musicians to play and events. Dog/ pet friendly if your animal is well-behaved around other pets!

  Best Coffee & Kava in Western North Carolina<br><br>Just Be Coffee Shop – also known as Asheville Coffee & Kava – is an absolute standout in the Western North Carolina scene. It’s more than a coffee shop: it’s a warm, intentional space rooted in community, creativity, and heart.<br><br>Veronica, the owner, is not only a dear friend but a true force of support and inspiration. She’s lifted up my business and continues to pour into everyone around her. That energy is felt in every detail of the shop.<br><br>As for the drinks—this is, without question, the best coffee and kava I’ve had in the region. The coffee is bold, smooth, and expertly crafted, and the kava adds a whole other dimension of relaxation and intention. You just can’t beat the quality or the vibe.<br><br>Whether you’re in town or just passing through, make this place a priority. You’ll feel better the moment you walk in—and you’ll leave knowing you just found your new favorite spot.

  The kava is potent and a wide variety. Has a nice sized mat for yoga and stretching with an amazing foam roller and other stretch props. Big outdoor space. Kid friendly. Very healing vibes.
