Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty botanical beverages with precision and flair

• Handle food preparation tasks including serving baked goods, snacks, and light meals while adhering to food safety standards

• Operate POS systems. We use Clover. Handle transactions efficiently and accurately

• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for sales and change with confidence

• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction

• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, tables, counters, and equipment

• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth workflow

Requirements

• Previous barista or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus

• Experience with POS systems like clover is desirable

• Experience in Kava industry highly preferred.

• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities

• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures

• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic understanding of retail math for sales processing and cash handling tasks
