Duties • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty botanical beverages with precision and flair • Handle food preparation tasks including serving baked goods, snacks, and light meals while adhering to food safety standards • Operate POS systems. We use Clover. Handle transactions efficiently and accurately • Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for sales and change with confidence • Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction • Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, tables, counters, and equipment • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth workflow Requirements • Previous barista or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus • Experience with POS systems like clover is desirable • Experience in Kava industry highly preferred. • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures • Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Basic understanding of retail math for sales processing and cash handling tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry while delivering outstanding service.
