Job Overview Unitea Kava Lounge is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Kavatender to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and serve kava beverages and other botanical teas, provide exceptional customer service, educate guests about our products, and help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Familiarity with the products is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training for motivated candidates with strong hospitality and customer service skills. Responsibilities Prepare and serve kava and botanical beverages Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience Educate guests about kava products and menu offerings Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and customer areas Restock supplies and assist with inventory management Complete opening and closing duties Follow state and company standards for service, safety, and cleanliness Qualifications Required Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Preferred Experience in hospitality, food service, coffee shops, bars, retail, or customer-facing roles Cash handling and POS experience Interest in wellness, herbal products, or community-focused environments Why Join Us? What you’ll own
