Job Title: Inventory Manager Report to: General manager, and Owner Overview: The inventory manager is responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient inventory operations for Ohana Kava Bar. This includes but is not limited to overseeing all incoming and outgoing stock- Such as kava root, beverage ingredients, bar supplies, retail products, and to ensure consistent availability, quality, and compliance with company standards. This role requires strong organization, critical thinking, and attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy, reduce loss in product, and support the smooth daily operations of the bar. The ideal candidate demonstrates timeliness, clear communication, and accountability in all aspects of inventory control and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate, real time records of all bar and retail inventory, including kava, tea blends, and other consumables. Conduct daily and weekly stock checks, reconcile digital counts of inventory to the physical ones. Track usage trends and forecast future needs based on sales and events. Identify and communicate inventory reports of discrepancies and loss promptly; completing weekly loss reports accurately. Manage relationships with suppliers, as well as verify and document all deliveries and purchases. Develop and maintain organized inventory storage (FIFO, clearly labeled, and consistent at all locations) Maintain an up-to-date warehouse inventory sheet, usage tracking, and all orders tracked, including loss reports Serve as a point of contact for any inventory-related questions or issues Bartend, serve drinks, make kava, and maintain a business standard setting while independently working Handle cash deposits, making inventory Competencies and Skills required: Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and develop smart, sustainable inventory solutions. Attention to detail and organization: consistently maintains precise records, ensures all inventory counts are accurate, keeps all storage areas neat and easy to navigate. Clear communication: Communications with management, vendors, and staff about inventory needs. Accountability and Adaptibility: Takes ownership of inventory accuracy and ensures all tasks are completed with integrity and reliability. Adjusts to changes in supply or demand, special events, and menu updates. Basic math and Analytical Skills - Technology Proficient, able to use spreadsheets accurately Expectations: Maintain a 98% accuracy rate Make sure all orders are scheduled in time to prevent outage of all products May include early morning or late night inventory runs if needed Requires at least 40lbs of lifting, standing and physical organization of inventory.
