Respect the Root, the production arm of MeloMelo Kava Bar, is hiring an Oakland assistant to support kava and kombucha production, packaging, inventory, and sanitation.
What you’ll own
- Prepare, inspect, and organize production equipment and packaging materials.
- Maintain inventory and accurate production, traceability, and labeling records.
- Assist with equipment setup while keeping the production environment clean and safe.
What helps you thrive
- An associate degree in food science, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Beverage or manufacturing experience and an understanding of production machinery are preferred.
- Able to communicate with the team and safely lift and handle materials up to 25 pounds.

Schedule
Part-time; 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday with weekend availability.
