The HappyKava arcade
BULA RUSH is the fast, chaotic mobile runner game built into HappyKava.
Choose your runner. Jump the hazards. Grab powerups. Master the gloriously strange strategy of Bar Hop. Race someone sitting across the room. Then put your name on the leaderboard at the kava bar you actually hang out at.
It is easy to start, difficult to put down, and built around the moment someone looks over and says, "There is no way you scored that."
No separate game purchase. Your free HappyKava Passport unlocks solo play where BULA RUSH is available.
Learn the rhythm in Practice, then switch to Ranked when the score should count.
Chase weekly and all-time scores at a specific kava bar, or see how you compare nationally.
Two checked-in players. Two phones. One shared 90-second course.
Choose a runner, mode, difficulty, soundtrack, and the kind of chaos you want to survive.
The Story
There is a particular moment every kava regular knows. One friend is still parking. Someone is deciding what to order. Another person said they were five minutes away fifteen minutes ago. You have your shell, the room is settling in, and everyone reaches for a phone.
Normally, that is where the group briefly disappears into five different screens. BULA RUSH does the opposite.
One person starts a run. Someone beside them notices the score. A second phone comes out, not to scroll, but to challenge it. Then somebody across the table asks which mode they are playing.
The phones are still out. But now the room is participating.
That is what makes BULA RUSH different. It is not entertainment that happens to be available inside a kava app. It is a game designed to become part of the experience at the bar.
What It Is
Your character moves forward while the run becomes faster, stranger, and harder to survive. You jump hazards, collect powerups, protect your health, and keep the run alive long enough to set a score worth defending.
But BULA RUSH is not attached to an anonymous global game lobby. You enter through a real kava bar. That bar can have its own leaderboard, its own players, its own local competition, and its own stories about the person who somehow stayed alive far longer than anyone expected.
Why It Feels Different
A local leaderboard gives regulars and visitors something shared to chase.
Being at the bar can unlock an experience that belongs to that room, not another generic app screen.
Because HappyKava Passport is free, signed-in users can use Passport access for solo BULA RUSH play at eligible bars without purchasing a separate game pass.
Protect the top score at your regular spot, then see whether it survives against players everywhere else.
A strong Endless player may collapse instantly in Sudden Death. A careful runner may discover that Bar Hop rewards an entirely different kind of decision-making.
Practice And Ranked
Practice is for learning what went wrong. Ranked is for insisting it will not happen again.
Practice is where you learn the timing, test a character, try an unfamiliar mode, or hand the phone to someone who has never played before. Experiment without changing the competitive leaderboard.
Ranked is where the score becomes part of the record. Your run can post to the appropriate leaderboard, influence competitive outcomes, and give everyone else at the bar a new number to chase.
Game Modes
Run until your health reaches zero. The speed keeps climbing, the decisions become less forgiving, and every extra second pushes the score farther from the person below you.
Choose a 90-second or two-minute run and make every second count. Survive cleanly, keep moving, and finish with the strongest score you can build before time runs out.
One hit. No recovery. No second chance. Sudden Death rewards concentration, clean timing, and the confidence to keep playing aggressively.
More kava-focused pickups and earlier resource pressure change the balance of the run. The item that helps you now can complicate what happens next.
Run the street, jump to the bar lane, collect cash, spend it on kava and tea powerups, protect your health, and try not to let one ridiculous object destroy the run.
Two-Player Quick Match
BULA RUSH 2P Quick Match pairs two signed-in players who are checked in at the same kava bar. Both players enter the same seeded course with the same chance to read the obstacles, collect pickups, protect their health, and survive the run.
The winner is not determined by raw survival time alone. Pace, health, pickups, clean play, and hits all contribute to the competitive result.
Check In Together & Start a 2P MatchBoth players must be actively checked in at the same BULA RUSH-enabled bar.
Leaderboards
See who is leading at the selected kava bar. The person at the top might be a regular, a one-time visitor, or the person two seats away pretending they are not about to try again.
See how your run compares beyond one room. A score that dominates the local bar may look very different once it reaches the national board.
A new window creates another chance to rise. Recent competition stays visible, active, and easier to challenge.
The long memory of the game. The scores everyone keeps trying to explain away remain until someone finally beats them.
Characters And Sound
Choose from the runners currently available in the lobby, preview their pixel-art style, and use the character that feels most like the run you are about to attempt. Available runners can include bundled HappyKava characters as well as special characters delivered for certain bars, updates, or campaigns.
Select from available BULA RUSH tracks before playing. At bars with supported music, the game may also let you choose from that bar's own playlist. Turn sound effects on, turn them off, and choose the track that makes a Ranked run feel serious enough to regret.
Free Passport Access
HappyKava Passport is now free for signed-in users. That means Passport can unlock solo BULA RUSH access at eligible bar experiences without requiring a paid game pass.
A same-bar check-in remains another way to unlock play, and it is still required for two-player Quick Match. That requirement keeps the multiplayer race connected to the people who are actually together in the room.

Before And After
Everyone waits separately.
One person scrolls.
Someone watches a video without sound.
Ten minutes pass without becoming part of the night.
Someone posts a score.
Another person says it looks easy.
It is not easy.
The kavatender asks who is winning.
The same ten minutes become one of the stories everyone remembers.
For Kava Bars
BULA RUSH gives a kava bar something most venue platforms cannot offer: an interactive experience connected to the physical room. A bar can become more than the place where the game was opened. It can become the place where the score matters.
Use local leaderboard rivalries, check-in-driven play, two-player competitions, QR and share-link game entry, event-night challenges, and branded or sponsored game experiences to give guests another reason to stay engaged between rounds.
Ready. Set. BULA.
Download the app, sign in, and open your free Passport. Choose a BULA RUSH-enabled bar. Pick your runner. Select a mode. Start in Practice or make the first score count in Ranked.
